Hi all,
yubicrypt, a modern alternative to OpenPGP and age has been released.
It is GUI based, leaves no traces on your SSD and produces no meta-data
and of course is much easier to use than GnuPG or age, if you have a YubiKey.
To verify yubicrypt signed messages or encrypt messages you do not need
a YubiKey, nor do you have to collect public keys, for verifying signatures.
The binary releases, including a localized German version are signed with yubisigner and the .sig files are time stamped with opentimestamps.org.
Additionally the release includes a certified eIDAS .pdf, showing my
current yubisigner signing certificate, which is the same I use with yubicrypt.

Hope you like!
