Isaac Newton created an apparent/true or absolute/relative space and motion by asserting that direct/retrograde motions seen from Earth (relative space and motion) are geocentric, while observations seen from the Sun (absolute space and motion) account for observations.

The vandalism is not worth it when theorists can be productive and creative rather than being disruptive to solar system and wider celestial research. It became clear decades ago that the followers of Newton had no idea what he did and all that mattered was that it insulated theorists from translating observations into working astronomical narratives. It takes perceptive people to know what existed before the Royal Society icon encountered the working principles of the first heliostatic researchers like Copernicus, Kepler and Galileo so remedial work is difficult to commence without that grounding.
