How does censorship in Mastodon work?
    Like on Twitter?

There was a big news when they blocked Gab. I'm not fan of Gab but it is an indication of censorship. Mastodon founder writes "Any server that we link to from joinmastodon.org commits to actively moderating against racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia."
    https://blog.joinmastodon.org/2019/05/introducing-the-mastodon-server-covenant/

It's a type of censorship and with KDE comment it looks like they want to join the club that shares their political views.

I don't care other's political view I just hope KDE doesn't spill it into their DE.

Gab itself seem political and pushing a particular agenda. I don't want
that in my software, regardless of what values or agenda they push. It
seems Silicon Valley is aware, that what they are doing is more just
taking control of platforms that being truly technologically innovative,
and controlling the platform lets you control the people.
