  • Still remaining quote issue

    One more thing I notice is that some readers quote and add spaces:

    example: > >> line

    This messes up quoting. Once a space is reached, it is assumed quoting
    depth is complete. One reader I see doing this is MacSoup, but maybe
    there are others.

    I'll spend some time on this next week.

    I've just applied a (hopefully) fix for this. I've done some testing and
    it looks like quoting and wrapping now work ok when the space is in the
    quote (> >>) in the article you're replying to. The space gets removed.

    I'll continue verifying it's working ok. It is live on novabbs.(org|com)

    Error message is "Email must be in the form of an email address".

    Ah, it looks like my old regex to check email address is a bit out of date. .name and some others would not work.
