• slrn in BBS

Trying out a full slrn install in Synchronet with per user config.

I'm having quite a bit of trouble dealing with the display, but it's getting better. Not sure it will work out properly, but want to try.

Anyway, the idea is that each BBS user gets their own slrn and settings, and all text groups.

We'll see, but it's been fun so far trying to make it work.

Sounds interesting. But why don't you just connect synchronet BBS with newslink to nntp server;and then messages can be read through message base interface? or are you trying to provide slrn as a better interface for
    NNTP reading ?

I guess it would provide threads, I don't know that there is a way to
    thread messages in synchronet.
