The admin died and servers / sites are offline now.

We've recovered newsgroups and setup a new frontend:

Site is connected and messages should appear in ~5-10 minutes.

fresh, retention starts only a week ago

Host: lux-feed1.newsdeef.eu (feeder server)
Port: 433 (no ssl)

retention since 1990 (groups list is >20MB and needs time to load!)

Host: lux-feed1.newsdeef.eu (archive server)
Port: 119 or 563 (SSL)
user: usenet
pass: archive

Everything is still under heavy development.

We're importing all of usenet history form the archive to pugleaf nodes.

I cannot reach it via TOR. Do you block certain ranges?

Seems the polling/feed is not properly working yet for all groups.

server was written in go, lacks most of the commands
was made to serve articles and accept articles to store
and it will be like that for a longer time.
We'll switch to something RFC compliant
but first we've to get all data out. 1.7b flat files.

basic reading: selecting groups and fetching articles works.

But I fixed the double dot in overview.fmt for you ;)
patch should be applied in next days.
too many open connections. don't want to stop running imports now.

You can hit that thing with 1000 conns, I don't care.

It can handle much more ;)

That's not an excuse to announce commands not available or not working
via capabilities. It contradicts the actual idea of the command.

Looks like it is important to emphasise this, as it is one of the few
commands that has been implemented flawlessly and in accordance with
the RFCs.
