• RG 2026: Youth vs Experience!

    Hello!

We will soon see a match that could be very
    interesting indeed: Youth vs Experience.

Joao Fonseca of Brazil will meet the GOAT
Djoker on Friday in Roland Garros. Fonseca
is just 19 years old while Djoker is over
twice that! Fonseca is a good, promising
player but can he stand the pressure of
meeting Djoker in a huge match?

If Fonseca plays his best tennis all the
time, it is even possible that he might
beat Djoker. But Djoker has been in
situations like these countless times and
he knows how to handle pressure.

    br,
    KK

Cripes! I'll plan to watch it tomorrow.

    Thanks, KK!

Djoker has started the match very well, 4-1 with a
double break. Surely the first set is already done.

Fonseca is beginning to get into it. He got one

No, sorry. It is Fonseca serving at 3-5.

It is now 40-15...He held. So Djoker will
next serve to win the first set at 5-4. This
    is getting interesting!

Djoker took the first set 6-4. Let's see if
Fonseca can play better in the second!

And another break! Fonz was a bit miffed in the previous game after that
net point Djok lucked out and milked the crowd for all it's worth.

    That's how it crumbles.

6-4, 6-4 for Djoker. It is a long way back for Fonseca.

The way Djoker is playing, it is 95% certain that he

Perhaps. But Fonz hasn't played bad. I think he's still in it.

Djok's net play has improved in his retirement home years.

Not sure how long Djok can last. He's beginning to look ragged.

This is getting hairy. Djok is on his last legs but it's Fonz who is
    playing badly now.

I cannot believe this, Fonseca just won the fouth set 7-5
and we have a fifth and deciding set!

I still think Djoker has to be the favourite, but it is

Your prediction turned out to be totally wrong:
Fonseca beat Ruud in four sets. It is a shame that
I did not see the match as I was watching Finland
win Ice Hockey World Championship. After that I
attended the huge party in the center of Helsinki,
enjoying the feverish nationalism. What a crowd
