    About star trek uniforms?

After a recent rewatch, I=E2=80=99ve come to appreciate how the TOS uniform=
s capture an earnest 1970s idea of Starfleet. The uniforms are almost like = loungewear.

They look comfortable and suggest a slightly sexy, loose vibe that was pret=
ty much eliminated from the franchise by WoK and the Reagan 80s.

It=E2=80=99s interesting how movies bear the subconscious marks of culture = from their time even when attempting to imagine a future society.

    So true.

Additional problem is one that's quite funny, as the technology advances, p= ast futurism always looks obsolete and unrealistic, so it's destined to rem= ain a fantasy. The technology part is hardly evergreen in sci-fi.

Any examples of past futurism holding up?

If I recall there was this British series, Moon Zero Two, and the
occupants of this base were damned close to constant decadent pastimes.

Boy, nothing turned out like predicted in 2001, or Blade Runner.
