Is it just me?
I actually feel they mostly fail in one of the thingsthey're supposed to do, convey sort of message and feeling that space is huge and Earth is small and fragile.
Perhaps it can't be done that way, anyway.
But they mostly seem to make a ridiculous mistake of taking those photos from a distance and then zooming in, clearing the surroundings and thus you get a photo a satellite above earth could easily make. Or they do it when they publish them.
For example, the pale blue dot, they often zoom in, and it is supposed to be impressive, but why?
Or blue marble, original is way better than the mainstream version.
