If you did not have enough international football this summer, dont
worry, every nation earth will be playing in the next couple of weeks in
some kind of Nationsliga. Most if not all of them can lead your country
in to the next World Cup, which may have something like 80 teams.
Possibly gegts you in to continental cups as well?

I think the only interesting thing that will come from this is that
Jurgen Klopp will be kicking himself for taking over as the German NT
coach when he could be shooting TV commercials and sitting on a beach or
at least on a hotel pool lounger.

Why he wanted to take over as coach of the worst German NT ever is
beyond me and it is not like any good players are coming up through the
system either, so it is not going to get better.

The English no longer like the National Team after not winning the WC
this summer. Maybe they were expecting too much? I think Someday they
    will win one.

On paper there certainly seems to be what should be considered
interesting games even if no one really knows what the Nationsligas
actually are and what they do? Ok, Maybe not every one has them, maybe
    not South America or Asia?

It all kicks off with the grand opening match between Turks and Caicos
Islands vs Montserrat. I will leave it up to you to decide if this match
or Bahamas vs Saint Martin or Aruba vs Antigua and Barbuda should have
been the kick off for this giant global football feast. They are all so deseriving of being the kick off match!

I know you are so excited about this great tournament or tournaments I
should say, starting up after what seemed like endless club football
matches for the past month or maybe it was 3 weeks?

More CONCACAF nationsliga tomorrow as well as the start of UEFA
nationsliga and possibly African Nationliga. Not sure about Asian Nationsliga?

You would figure with Phil Esposito they could at least score a few goals.

If you have not been following the Manager Merry go round, every country
has a new manager now. Some even have sons playing for other countries!

Kloppo went with really fast low talent players and it was good enough
to get a draw with another team with really fast untalented players. The
best two players were the oldest in this game ( Kimmich and Virgil).

France will win every would and Euro Cup until Zidane resigns.

Montella looks like a Turkish German guy whose name I cant remember, I
really did not realize it was him even though he has been the coach for
    a while now.

I mean come on , Flems have Dutchman coach, The English a German, even
the Dutch have a Spanish guy. What is next Brazil or Argentina getting
    a foreign coach????

Now from a play perspective- and the caliber is higher- these glorified friendlies are better football than the USA26 WC. Which isnt saying much.

I watched this game and it was entertaining and could have gone either
way. Belgium settled faster and looked impressive in the first half,
with De Bruyne looking like he was 5 years younger, and newer players
Moreira and Godts pretty impressive. Italy had the upper hand in the
second half, and looked threatening at times, but finishing let them
down. Both Belgian goals were good ones. Lukaku came on late but did
little. This rejuvenated Belgium side could give most teams problems.
Ngoy, Lavia, Moreira, Fernandez-Pardo, Godts, De Cuyper, Seys, ... not a
    bad young core at all.

I also caught the NL - Germany game the day before, which was also entertaining. Ademyemi missed a sitter that would have made it 2-0, so
the Germans should be kicking themselves that they did not win, but the
NL were clearly on top for most of the second half, and the equalizer
from Gakpo, neatly set up by young Van Bommel (on debut ?), was excellent.

A good couple of days for the Van Bommels anyway.

OK, international football is getting increasingly weird.

The NL has a Spanish coach.
Belgium has a Dutch one (not for the first time)
    Scotland has a Belgian one
    England has a German one.
    Brazil has an Italian one
    Canada has a US one
    USA has an Argentine one
    Austria has a German one.
    Ireland has an Icelandic one

Which teams have never had a foreign coach/manager ? Spain, Italy,
France, Germany of the big ones, I guess. Argentina.

Spain and Italy have had foreign managers. (A long time ago

Followed up by GermanyrCys first ever defeat against
Greece, who defended deep and do have some
    talented players.
None of the 'second setrCy of Klopp call-ups particularly
    impressed.

TTHQFTCWC destroyed Turkey away from home. They are now surely
projected to take home the Nations' League?
