Just when you thought it was a close game... UEFA - in response
to the own goal - go straight on the offensive, go up the other
end... and bang another one in. Take that Gianni!

    https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cx2zl5kwlxjo

This is getting spicy. Can Infantino FC hit back?

(I was only joking about the popcorn... but this is getting
spicy now. So I think I need to go out and get a bigger bag.)

Actually, this sounds like a better idea. If they can pull it up
legally, or at least throw enough mud at him so that he backs down, it
might work. Besides, if he's forced to hand over documents, they might
find interesting things in them, that's probably also part of the plan.
    Let's see where this goes.

It's funny how the BBC journalist has 'seen' the documents
regarding UEFA's application that they say "has been made". It's
not like a spook from MI6 broke into UEFA's offices, so somebody
inside UEFA showed those documents to the BBC journalist. Which
says to me that UEFA want the headlines about the possible legal
action against Infantino to make it look like they have a Plan B
    following their limp "boycott" plans.

    It's all good PR.

    Until it's not.

    The chess game continues: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2026/sep/09/gianni-infantino-loyalist-caribbean-fifa-split-gelson-fernandes

He will try try split off votes within AFC and Concacaf, and create infighting within those groups. He is fighting for survival, and will use any possible dirty trick to pull it off.
