Looks like an own goal from UEFA will let FIFA off the hook
and enable them to regroup. Game on!

We all know you have to kill teams off when you have the
advantage. Now the pressure on FIFA has eased a bit and the
Europeans are looking a bit flustered... have they enough
fuel in the tank to kill this game off? Or will the main man
up front for FIFA slot an equaliser in?

UEFA talk the talk, but that can't walk the walk. This could
    be heading into extra time.

    Stay tuned...

Great boycott. Unanimous, right ? When the time came they didn't even
want to boycott the women under 20 WCup. :) And we should believe them
that they actually intended to boycott the real one ? Yeah right. Was
    never going to happen.
All they did with it was look ridiculous.

They'll try to remove Infantino the regular way, if they can do it -
OK, if that fails too, they'll just put up with it. Maybe wait for a
better chance after Trump's term ends.

It reminded me of the rainbow arm-band (One Love) thing from
the 2022 FIFA World Cup, supporting LGBTQ rights as a 'fuck you'
message to Qatar, that the FA and other European national
associations were so keen on promoting and standing by... until
FIFA threatened ... <gasp>... a yellow card to any team captain
not wearing an official FIFA sanctioned arm-band! Those European
associations soon caved and they all ended up looking foolish
for trying to be 'right on' and trendy.

If they believed in it they should have stood by it, but of
course it was just virtue signalling. They didn't have the balls
    to make a stand.

This "FIFA boycott" has now been shown to be something similar.
No sensible person ever thought UEFA nations would boycott FIFA
tournaments, especially the 2030 FIFA World Cup, so it was more
smoke and mirrors PR spin from UEFA and its member associations.
If you want to take on FIFA you need a better weapon than
    meaningless words.

Infantino will survive until the FIFA elections next March and
after that it'll come down to the numbers. Infantino is not
stupid, he'll be flying around the world buying votes as we
    speak.
