While he's the one who established the video ref a few years back,
which is a very strong positive, he's done way too many dumb moves
lately so he needs to go.

I think the Infantino-Trump relationship thing is the most

I'm no supporter of these corrupt men, and this is a good point to argue about, but I wonder if this will result in any real change, other than scrapping the financialisation of the WC, for now. UEFA would have to get the AFC on its side if they were to support another candidate for next year, and UEFA would probably have to make a major compromise and support and AFC candidate, likely one of the sheikhs who own their FAs. How that would improve things on the world stage, I just don't see it. The system doesn't allow for someone who will want to keep the game out of the billionaires' hands. As much as I love the game, I am not against, in the future, following and supporting a sport that is much outside the spotlights.

Or they could just threaten to secede if everybody doesn't support
Wenger. Won't happen of course, everybody would accuse them of
colonialism and it doesn't sit well.

After a bit more thinking, I would expect Infantino to keep his post
for now. Like it or not, it's not a good idea to upset Trump. We'll see.

At this point, Fifa has had a corrupt head for over 50 years, and it's very unlikely that anything will stop that from continuing. Regarding the orange guy, he is just going along whichever sport kisses his behind the most. Naturally, that should be American football, but he holds grudges against some of the owners (lawsuits and owned a rival USFL team), so soccer it is. Shudder...
