    1 - 1 FT, so we have extra-time.

In the last maybe 20 minutes Norway actually looked more dangerous when
they had the ball (but England had more of it). Both teams seemed
pretty tired at the end. Barring a Haaland shot or some brilliance from
Kane or Bellingham, PKs look rather likely.

There should have been some 7 or 8 YCs but none was shown. They're

2 - 1 final score, England are in the semis.

A game full of strange incidents and ref errors, including, IMO, by the
VAR. In the end the result looks more or less deserved, fortunately it
didn't seem to wrongfully change the winner.

I thought England would progress but didn't expect Norway to get quite
so much of the play (in the 90 minutes, not so much extra time). There
were times where you could have been forgiven for thinking Brazil had
won the Met Life round of 16 match and decided to turn up in Norway shirts.

Felt like Norway deserved more from the game in the first 90 minutes but England have a bit of a knack for getting jammy in these sort of situations.

I don't know for sure, they'll probably explain it at some point, but
it's possible that this has to be ignored because it happens so rarely.
It's rather similar to when the ball hits a corner flag, it's part of
the game. So this wouldn't be an error actually.

There is and it didn't register a touch, (FIFA released the
Snicko soundwave) so therefore it's just the Norwegians
clutching at straws. Every goal in this tournament has to be
challenged over something doesn't it? No team can lose
gracefully any more it seems... either the ref did this, or the
ref didn't do that, or VAR didn't pick something up, or did...
    but got it wrong.

I don't know, but I would also think, as HASM said, that the
referee would re-start the game with a drop ball similar to when
a referee gets in the way of a pass in the middle of the field.

I'd be more concerned if it did happen why the sensor in the
ball didn't pick up the contact with the cable when it picked up
