    FT USA 2-0
Balogun (later red carded for an ugly but probably involuntary foul)
and Tillman from a free kick near the end.
    Thoroughly deserved win.

    Tchau!

I don't know exactly what the rule is, but I don't think the foul was excessively violent or reckless, even though the outcome looked pretty
    bad.

Yes, deserved win for the USA. So, you can beat Bosnia even if you're
holding a lead but with a man down...who would have thunk?

Speaking of jerseys, Nike had done a fantastic job with the US jerseys
in the past 10-15 years: simple, stylish, beautiful. Too bad they went
with this striped monstrosity this year...

Generally, a lot of modern football jerseys are shit. The big
companies (Nike / Adidas etc.) think they are producing some
sort of artistic fashion garment, or something that will be
part of a trend. All they need to do is keep it to the basics
and the fans will buy it.

One of my pet hates is teams that change from their traditional
kits when there's no need to because their kit doesn't clash
with the other team's, but they have to wear their "away" /
"alternate' jerseys a few times so they can sell them in the
    club shop...

On the other hand, too bad Cura|oao couldn't wear their away kit in the
    Cup, because it looks awesome.

Agreed. A nice, simple design will do. I also wonder how involved the FAs are in kit design. Sometimes that's not a good idea, but there would be some encouragement to keep the design "grounded" to a degree.
