As commentator Ian Darke has already mentioned, this is
reminixcent of 2018 when Japan in the round of 16 was up 2-0 over
Belgium at the half. That Belgian team, however, was a lot better than
this Brazilian one, and rose to the occasion brilliantly, winning 3-2
in regulation. (I still think actually that they were the best team of
that tournament.) This is at this moment one of the great tests of
Carlo Ancelotti's career. His team so far doesn't have a clue.

    Fret not.

I have it on good authority that Lucas Paquet|i's betting slip
for his five quid Acca on this match was...

Japan to be winning at half time.
Brazil to win at full time.
    Paqueta to get booked.
    Casimeiro own goal.

It did turn out like Japan-Belgium! Japan should have attacked
more, I think, but Brazil made a lot of great individual efforts. One question: why didn't Vini EVER try to go to the byline on the left? I
    don't get it. Congratulations, Brazil.

I was thinking among the same lines. This is a good, well-coached
Japanese team that perhaps respected Brasil a tad bit too much. Second
half was mostly Brasil, with Japan only occasionally paying visits to
    Alisson.

And to Japan too I'd say, for their good play over the Cup.

    Best regards,
