I have to say I haven't seen any of them this year (but I'm getting
ready to :) ). But given that, from what I read, PSG again has no
trouble beating EPL teams in both legs, my money would be on them. Of
course Bayern are by no means beaten in advance.

PS. It would help if the thread was named UCL SF .

Unbelievale game. Both teams are so good you just don't know who will
prevail. Possibly one of them will run out of steam in the second haf, otherwise it's wide open.
Can you see something like this in the Europa league ? Or any other
competition ? I strongly doubt it.

I hav to say that attack on Dembele around min. 20 seemed like a
penalty. But other than this it's perfect.

In compensation, I rather doubt the last penalty, it was a handball but
I think the ball was shot from close distance.

Anyway, I have to note that the offensive football trend continues 5
gols in the first half. Let's see where they stop. And obviously
offensive teams are at a big advantage these days. Nobody plays
catenaccio any more, or if they do, they don't get very far.

The finish definitely belonged to Bayern. Except for that huge chance
when PSG hit the post. Bayern didn't score but at 5 - 4 they have to be favorites, in theory. After what I saw today, anything can happen.
Still, I say Bayern are slight favorites. I can't wait to see the game.

Plus, only one person here cares about the Arse.

As long as PSG or Bayern win the Champions League,
the rest of RSS will be happy.

Arsenal will be favorites next week.

    Possibly.

Nothing like last night but still, good game.

You can see the difference in quality though. Arsenal might
be one of the best teams in the Premier League, but like a
lot of Premier League teams, they are awful to watch. There's
nothing free-flowing about most English teams these days, it's
like a war of attrition and hoping to get a goal from a set
piece. Behind the hype and money a lot of it is a load of shit.

We saw in the PSG-Real Madrid QF tie, and the match on Tuesday,
how football should be played. Arsenal can't play like that. The
big European teams save their best performances for the
Champions League, the Premier League teams [generally] just want
to grind results out. They often get there, but it ain't pretty
    to watch.

still relying on penalties not called by the refs. That's
probably all Simeone knows. Well, as I said doesn't get you
    very far. 1 - 0 Arsenal.

    1 - 1

So Will we see Munich vs Arsenal?

A PSG - Atletico Madrid Final would be nice... ;-)

Either way, I reckon the winner of the Champions League is
coming from the footballing side of the draw.

And for the rest of the week ...

    An English team is playing!

Plus, only one person here cares about the Arse.

As long as PSG or Bayern win the Champions League,
the rest of RSS will be happy.

Arsenal will be favorites next week.

    Possibly.

2 goals from 2 penalties, and a 3rd one not given.

They often get there, but it ain't pretty
    to watch.

I agree, for the teams in the other semi. But in this one, Arsenal was
the attacking team and Atleti parked the bus (but they were pretty good
on the counter). Especially in the first half, well, in the second one
they went on the offensive, but what the heck, they needed to win and
they were home. They had to. So I would rather have Arsenal in the
final. EPL rivalries mean nothing to me. :) (But the winner should be
PSG or Byern, agree. But as we know very well, surprises happen.)

I just saw the PK for Atletico again. It was awfully similar to the one
PSG got tuesday. The ball was fiercely shot from close range, bounced
off the defender's leg and touched the arm. Because the shot came from
so close, and was so strong, I think it shouldn't have been given.

'Handball' is one of the messiest rules there is, in Europe and
in the Premier League...and strangely enough, they both seem to
    treat the same thing differently.

Every time IFAB try and 'improve' the handball rule for clarity,
they just seem to make it worse!

As for VAR; don't get me started on that one! (FWIW, the Arse
penalty shouldn't have been overturned - if you have to look at
something twenty times, it ain't "clear and obvious"!)
