The media is making a big deal out of the "record breaking goal", but
that record was in turn broken by each subsequent goal and will be
further broken by each goal scored for the rest of the season.

In the end, what will be remembered is the final goal - just like it was
with the old record. All the talk has been about Franz Beckenbauer
