Now to my most recent problem:
Before, every time I muted or unmuted myself by moving the microphone up and down I got a small beep sound so that I knew that the microphone is on or off.
I just opened the iCUE software again and now this beep sound is magically gone (without me updating or changing anything).
I liked the sound, because this way I knew that the mic was on or off. I know that there is the voice information but this one is much more disturbing during calls and meetings then the small beep sound. Is there a way to get this beep sound back?
Since voice prompt volume is linked directly to the main volume even at 40% volume its is quite disturbing. I agree that the beep sound is rather helpful than the voice prompt which is disturbing at all. On my end, I tried disabling the "Voice Prompts" option in iCue but it didn't bring back the beeps sounds, just plain silence.

And since I am having problems with my HS80, quite stressful uninstall-install of everything (driver and iCue software). I found that when iCue is not installed, there will be no voice prompts (naturally because the setting of iCue is gone) and the beeps will be there.
If you don't need the iCue software, uninstalling it will solve your preference to have the beep sound.
Exact same issue as Tim, gotta love corsair straight up lying that disabling the annoying voice prompts will bring back beeps.
there was a week after icue updated that my headset wasn't recognized and I got the beeps again, I nearly cried when i heard the stupid "Mic off, mic feedback off, battery low! charging battery" again.
straight up does not work, has never worked, I have tried on different versions of ICUE at different times for the past year, the only way to go back to the nice unobtrusive beeps and boops is to uninstall icue
when I use virtuoso schematic and layout, there is a beep when I click save, or if there is an error, or when a simulation is finished. I think by default this beep comes from the BIOS. But I now have a computer that doesn't play that sound from the BISO. I wonder if there is a way to change that sound to a different one that can be played by the normal sound card, like other system notification.
The problem is with my computer, which doesn't make the beep (I guess there is some problem with the BISO), so I wonder if there is a way to change the beep to a different sound, to use the soundcard, instead of the BIOS beeping.
I have a test app that uses Google voice in a continuous manner and it plays the beep sound every time Google recognition service is called. I am trying to get rid of the beep sound. I have read threads of muting the music stream but that would not work for me.
Another option would be to directly mute all sounds coming from the Google App (which includes the Google voice recognition beep sound). The advantage of this method is that there is no interference with any other streaming audio. The following is a link for further detail. Do note, however, that this requires root access: -do-i-disable-the-google-voice-typing-voice-search-ding-sound.
i'm trying to create a "generative score" using beep.js based on some map data i have. i am using new Beep.Voice as placeholder for notes associated to specific types of data (7 voices total). as data is displayed, a voice should be played. i'm doing things pretty "brute force" so far and i'd like it to be cleaner:
There's an old thread on this. I personally hate loud beeps, but insert little chirps at various times during the print by adding this line to start and end gcode under Printer Settings->Custom g-code:
"Beep, beep" is onomatopoeia representing a noise, generally of a pair of identical tones (beeps) following one after the other, often generated by a machine or device such as a car horn. It is commonly associated with the Road Runner (meep, meep) in Looney Tunes cartoons featuring the speedy-yet-flightless bird and his constant pursuer, Wile E. Coyote. Beep, Beep is the name of a 1952 Warner Bros. cartoon in the Merrie Melodies series.
Chuck Jones, the creator of Road Runner, has stated that this sound, the only way the Road Runner can harm the Coyote, was inspired by hearing a Doppler-like effect as background artist Paul Julian imitated a car horn when he could not see where he was going.[1] Julian voiced the various recordings of the phrase used throughout the Road Runner cartoons, although on-screen he was uncredited for his work. Although commonly quoted as "meep meep", Warner Bros., the current owner of all trademarks relating to the duo, lists "beep, beep" as the Road Runner's sound, along with "meep, meep." According to animation historian Michael Barrier, Julian's preferred spelling of the sound effect was either "hmeep hmeep"[2] or "mweep, mweep".[3]
In 1978, Warner Bros. recycled the Road Runner's "beep, beep" sound for its television series, Wonder Woman, which featured a tiny robot-on-wheels named Rover who makes the "beep, beep" sound on occasion. It only appeared in the second-season episode "I.R.A.C. is Missing".
So popular was the image of road-burning speed inspired by the Road Runner, that Plymouth (a division of Chrysler) named one of their V8-powered "muscle car" models after the cartoon bird. The car was fitted with Road Runner decals and a horn that made the well-known "beep, beep" sound when activated.
Hello, Sadly the program does not have an option to have the beep at start and end but not to record it. This beep is the signal right after the program start recording and right before it stops and this is why it is always included on the recordings. One thing you can do is try using VideoPad video editor to cut those beep sound at start and end.
its weird, cause on my older version on my desk top, I could have the start/stop beeps but it wouldn't have those beeps on the actual recording. I upgraded my desktop version and rarely records the beep now. I should have left the desktop version alone,, sheesh. the only difference I can see is the desktop is running on 32bit windows. although it is 64 capable. The windows free auto upgrade installed itself in 32bit instead of 64bit.
Then all of a sudden one night that all changed, my gut feel is this was a firmware/software update by Amazon that whenever a volume change occurs on the echo devices it will also beep/chirp to confirm the new setting and volume.
The alert tone or beep or notification sound or whatever when you hit max volume or a text comes in or you press play on a song, is really REALLY LOUD AND UNNECESSARY. It is always the same ear-and-mood-shattering loudness, regardless of the volume for the speaker. It has to have a disable option. How do I turn it off?
In our testing, we found that the Voice Elements Beep Detector was 98.5% accurate in detecting beeps. By comparison, the most finely tuned Call Progress engines reach only about 90% accuracy.
Once you start the Beep Detector in Voice Elements, it will analyze all of the audio listening for anything that might be considered a beep. When a beep is detected, Voice Elements will return a Termination Code of Beep back to the client application and you can then determine how to handle the situation.
When you make calls, you begin playing a message as though a human picked up the phone. Then once a beep is detected, you can begin playing the machine message. This means that people who pick up the phone will always hear the message that is meant for them, and voicemails will always contain the entirety of the message.
The Beep Detector must be active for a termination code of Beep to be met. This means that you must always call BeepDetectionStart, before you do anything where you may want to detect a beep.
Make sure that that you always stop the beep detector with BeepDetectionStop before doing a subsequent play. Otherwise, the next play will end immediately with a return code of beep. This allows your code to fall through multiple plays (i.e. you play message 1, 2, and 3 in quick succession).

Is this a solution for just Alexa itself or for the Sonos with Alexa enabled. I was interested in turning off the beep sound on the alexa enabled beam and sonos ones, that is heard after the voice command has been completed. I have been able to turn off the wake sound.
This flow uses a Set whisper flow block to play a message for the customer when the customer and agent are joined. It uses a "beep" sound to notify a customer that their call has been connected to an agent.
Carbon monoxide (CO) is an invisible, odorless, and tasteless gas that is produced from fuel burning appliances, such as your furnace or generators. Having the proper amount of CO alarms installed in your house helps you achieve whole home protection for the safety of your family. However, it is important to be educated and know how your alarm communicates with you. There are several reasons as to why your carbon monoxide detector could be beeping or chirping.
