Can this be done? It can be through the Photos app or the Preview app.</div><div></div><div>I know this is a big ask, but I really have no idea how to do this. Thankful for any help.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The issue here is not making a slideshow, the issue is automatically creating a slideshow that includes the filename of each photo on the photo, as if you were adding a caption or title to the photo manually. I could do this manually, but I have several thousand of photos I need to do this process on, 60 photos at a time, each time creating one slideshow.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Graphic Converter can do a slideshow from a folder of files and automatically put the filenames on for you -- it's a long time since I've used it, so I don't know what formatting/positioning options you have.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Graphic Converter, Photoshop -- and probably others -- can be scripted to process all your images files, compositing the name directly onto the image or resizing the canvas and adding the name above/below. You could even do that in KM with a combination of the "Modify Image" action using the "Add Margins" option plus the "Composite onto image" action. You'd then make your slideshows from those modified images.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I know that it's possible to display things such as Date and location of when and where the photo was taken in the ambient mode. But it's not being shown in my case. The only thing displayed is the album name.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have found that frequently each photo demands a different amount of display time. You may find that some key photos demand 5 - 7 seconds (a LOONNGG time IMO), but other, more "supportive" photos really only need 1 or 2 seconds. Also, I count as display time the amount of time it takes to fade in and fade out - so half of a fade belongs to the preceding photo and half belongs to the following photo.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I've been spending 2 days reading this forum to find slideshow programs. And I've been testing 5 or 6. 2 of them had a really nice interface and was very easy to use but I didn't have any control of panning, zoom or transitions.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I use Memories on TV,and find it does all I want. I do 6 seconds each picture, and a 3 second transistion. If I have a large amount of holiday photo's I burn 2 disc's keeping the one to show friends at 20-30 mins and for myself however long it takes. If friends come round they will be impressed and want more if you keep it around 20-30 mins or bored if it's to long. Regards Mike Marsh.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I will try to keep it as short as I can. 3 weeks holiday down under with 1100 photos! I think I end up with around 200 pictures in the final show. And changing the sec for some pictures for less or more than 3. </div><div></div><div>And I'm working on different transitions just to make it more interesting.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I use Memories on TV,and find it does all I want. What I start with is (3) second viewing, (2) second transitions and random movement and transitions. I then adjust as needed. As a word of warning, when using random movements, you must check every image to be sure what you wan to see is within the "safe zone".</div><div></div><div></div><div>Lomography's LomoChrome '92 is designed to mimic the look of classic drugstore film that used to fill family photo albums. As we discovered, to shoot with it is to embrace the unexpected, from strange color shifts to odd textures and oversized grain.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The LowePro PhotoSport Outdoor is a camera pack for photographers who also need a well-designed daypack for hiking and other outdoor use. Read on to find out which portable enthusiast compacts are our favorites.</div><div></div><div></div><div>When you first posted here, I was able to see the photos () you had included in your slideshow gallery and noticed they were in portrait format - taller than they are wide. The slideshow gallery's default image format is landscape - images wider than they are tall. Photos in landscape format will fit best in the slideshow photo gallery.</div><div></div><div></div><div>If you want to try to display the full length of these photos, you would need to first edit the images in photo software to include a white or transparent background to create a landscape sized image. Alternatively, you could find a third party slideshow option and use the Embed Code option, kenzie6488.</div><div></div><div></div><div>There are three different cropping options for the photo gallery that you can use. To see which works best, you should be able to click on the section, then Image Gallery. Once here, click on the crop tile to see which looks best - let me know if you aren't seeing these options, or if something doesn't seem to be working properly!</div><div></div><div></div><div>When I get into Image Gallery, the three options are Stack (which doesn't have cropping options), Grid (which does have cropping options), and Slideshow (which doesn't have cropping options). I'm just wondering what size the image needs to be so my photos don't look so zoomed into. The photo area looks to be kinda rectangular.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I am looking to use the slide show section of Square Online; I have created the images in CANVA; When I finally get them into the slideshow, it is clear that I have the wrong image size as there are tops cut off, sides cut off...</div><div></div><div></div><div>I've moved your post into this thread where someone else asked the same question. This Best Answer should provide some clarity about uploading images for a slideshow - I hope this helps, EnchantedFibers!</div><div></div><div></div><div>Thanks..... still not getting the photo gallery section to work as desired... nor am i able to delete any of the images that have been uploaded into the gallery that the section is able to select from...</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have my photos tagged with the date of the photo but when I create a slideshow with them, they appear to be inserted into the slideshow randomly, not by date. How can I have my slideshow have all the photos in chronological order? Is this only possible manually or is their an import trick?</div><div></div><div></div><div>Highlight the album Control right click, and choose Create, then Slideshow and the photos should appear as in your album. You can then add music and time control (which symbols are on the right hand side). If you have started playing the slideshow and then decide you want to add music and time control pause the slideshow and press the esc key and then set the music and time . If you want to change the music make sure your delete the old music before you choose new music. I put my theme on classic as you only have one photo at a time. Some of the other themes the photos are shown differently.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I've done some further testing. Now, with Photos 3.2 it looks like a sorted slideshow can be created from an album, if the album has an automatic sorting - by title or by date. As soon as I apply some manual sort to the album, all is lost.</div><div></div><div> df19127ead</div>
