Please be Alert for Email and Text Scams
We have heard from several members that Amateur Radio Operators and radio
clubs are being targeted by scammers requesting gift card purchases. In one case, the scam message appeared to come from one club officer to another.
Please remember: No legitimate organization will ever ask for payment in the form of gift cards.
We also want to reassure you that we do not share your email address with
third parties. If you receive a suspicious message, delete it and report it.
Stay alert and stay safe!
