• [seek] Cryptic Crossword Generator Software for Debian Linux OS

    I need software for generating cryptics (British-style crosswords) on
    Linux platforms. My goal is to generate and print the puzzles on
    standard sheets of paper.

    Anything related to this would possibly be useful to me even if it
    doesn't do the whole job. Even tools that do bits and pieces may help.

    1a) Worst crispy cod heartless customer ordered for challenge (7,9)

    6d) See 6d) (4,11)

    9d) Oil-bearing ordered to DIY (2,8)

    11d) Chews puce to make better puzzles (6,3)

    Whenever I think (as I do, from time to time) of cutting code to
    generate cryptic clues, I quench the notion by re-reading
    Shakespeare's "A Lover's Complaint" (1609). The whole thing,
    really, but especially this:

    "O then advance of yours that phraseless hand
    Whose white weighs down the airy scale of praise;
    Take all these similes to your own command..."
