  • On field backup/offload options

    Going on a long(ish) trip.

    Nikon Z8. Don't feel like forking out for more than my current >256GB CF
    and SD cards (writing simultaneously to SD for JPG, and CFe for raw),
    and want to back up to a self-contained device.

    The WD My Passport Pro Wireless concept seemed good, but now superseded
    (by what for similar functionality?)

    - Totally self-contained incl. power.
    - Prefer directly transfer by USB cable, and/or 5GHz Wi-Fi.
    - SD and CF card-reading, directly or via a USB card reader).
    - Maybe 2TB
    - Auto or manually-instigated transfer.
    - Wireless link to laptop/tablet/mobile.

    What are the current best options:
