This is an artwork that is available online at a publicly accessible
site that includes information who created the image.
So you'd think that people should be able to identify the artist
associated with the image. So, is anyone able to tell me who created the artwork?

This image appears to be a piece of digital or generative art, possibly created using mathematical algorithms or fractal software, rather than a traditional painting. It resembles the style of contemporary generative artists or AI-generated visualizations often found in abstract or data- driven art.
However, without metadata or a source, itrCOs impossible to definitively attribute it to a specific artist just from the image alone. If you have
any contextrCowhere you found it, any associated text, or filenamerCoit might help narrow it down.
I wasnrCOt able to track down a definitive source linking that exact image to a specific artist.
Do YOU know where this was originally posted or published?
Maybe YOU created the image! ;-)

You would think, oh, that's easy, just use AI, like the AI in google
lens to find out:
https://i.imgur.com/u273ESX.png
But that's completely unreliable. In fact it doesn't just fail to find
the associated artist, it even misattributes it to a completely
different artist.

Thanks for sharing that image rCo it seems to confirm the artist!
The artwork is titled "Swirling Serendipity" and was created by Hampus Olsson. ItrCOs part of the Void collection in his official wallpaper app, Abstruct, which features many of his abstract digital designs. Olsson is also known for creating wallpapers for OnePlus devices.

It's AI baloney, complete with a confabulated title for the work.
