And a happy holiday and new year to you!

In other news - I'm back up to my normal contingent of two cats, Norah
having finally arrived just before Christmas (she had a slight delay due
to waiting for her to be big enough to leave her mother, and then a
minor complication of her spay, which meant she was kept a bit longer
before being released to me). She is gorgeous and adorable, and, umm, hyperactive. Well, she IS just over 4 months old, so she's probably at a normal activity level for her age. It's been a long times since I had a
kitten instead of an adult cat. She's getting on reasonably well with
Anna, the 1.5 year old cat who was already here when Norah arrived. Anna
is spending a lot of time staring in round-eyed fascination at the
    strange new arrival.

Congratulations on your new furbaby! I've never had a cat under 2 years
old but I'm sure at 4 months Norah's activity level to be expected. LOL
about Anna's fascination with the newbie. :)
