• solar panel fried

Just bought that Eco Worthy 10 watt solar panel 2/5/25 and it already
took a dump. It was relatively cheat I think at about $30. I might
have done the damage myself starting up the view without unhooking
first. That shouldn't have fried it, but it might have. I decided to
go up to a 20 watt. It's $75 but a much better unit I think. Should be
    here tomorrow.

The new one is so much better. Here's a pic side by side. Yes it is
quite a bit larger, but I actually like the suction cups on the thing.
    It works good.

On the inside you can see the better controller it has. It also has a
gauge that shows the charging level.

The old one might have something blown inside, so I've decided to take
the weatherproof seal off and have a look since it is otherwise junk.
If there is an obvious fix, I might reseal and keep it around for
    something else.

Today is a very cloudy day and it is still working pretty good. Should
keep the RV chassis battery good. I could probably use it on the inside
of the windshield with the extra capacity, but I don't think the dig
lighter would work and I'd have to route it another way. Probably just
leave it outside on the windshield.

What does the 75% level mean? Is it sensing SOC of the battery,
or is that percent of its max delivery?

Way better than the old one. That one struggled to keep voltage over
12.4 volt. This one show 12.7 most of the time.

That means it's 75% and above. Right of there is 100% that flashes
until it senses fully charged and turns solid and stops charging until
it notices voltage drop. For me having to keep it outside in the winter without removing the battery, this is really worth it.

Today was a very cloudy day and just checked it and it was doing the
slow pulsing of all the levels which means it fully charged it and is
now doing maintenance. The 10 watt never did that.

(I also decided it wasn't my time to take the old one apart and tossed
    it today)
