Have you ever heard the name of Maria Stader, a great Swiss concert soprano? Through her whole career, she had concentrated on sacred music and Lieder. But sometimes she sang a few operatic roles on the stage such as Pamina, Queen of the Night and Olympia in LES CONTES
D'HOFFMANN. She made just 4 studio recordings of operas - FIGARO, GIOVANNI, ZAUBERFLOETE and ENTFUEHRUNG AUS DEM SERAIL, all under her mentor Ferenc Fricsay for DG. Is there another complete opera recording of hers?

Yes, a lovely artist with a very pleasant voice. She did do at least one opera recital with another conductor; I believe I have two on LP from
what would now be Polydor (a monaural one on U.S. Decca and a stereo on DGG).
