    Just dipping my toes into this knowlegable pool to see if anyone knows (for sure) whether Mascagni did or did not conduct those Fonotipia excerpts of Parisina made in April 1914.
    Everywhere I look, I get different information. The fact that Mascagni is not named as conductor on the record label, and never mentions these significant recordings in his letters, makes me think he did not - even though he probably suggested the artists (Solari, Dolci, etc.).
    Any insider knowledge would be most welcome.
