    Eric, this is mostly a terrific lineup, but I wish that someone had told you not to give Catherine Asaro a slot. Although she's a terrible, absolutely tone-deaf vocalist, that in and of itself is not the biggest problem. IMHO, the biggest problem with Ms. Asaro is that she uses false pretenses to persuade organizers to give her concerts, including touting the CD on which she's the "lead singer" while failing to mention that her voice appears on only one of the tracks and that the engineers autotuned the hell out of it.

    Chicago hosted the 10th, 20th, 40th, and now 80th Worldcon. (And a
    few others.) Place your bets now on whether they'll host the 160th.

    It really doesn't matter. He's not currently in filk, and he was never a performer beyond participation in filk circles.
