Bambi's mom was a plain deer,
'Til she met with Bambi's dad.
Did things I'll not explain, dear.
(That is how they had the lad.)
Mom knew just how to train deer:
Summer, autumn, winter, spring.
When next the days did wane here,
Bambi knew 'bout everything.
Autumn days were crisp and fun,
'Til his mom said, "Son,
Man's in the woods with his gun -
I'm behind you; run kid run!"
(SFX: gunshot)
Mom joined the ranks of slain deer;
Tasty hunks of venison.
Bambi is now the main deer,
And Faline just had a son.
Mama's fate was sad -
Bambi's now a dad -
So the cycle's re-begun.
