Unless my newsgroup reader has gone wacky, this newsgroup has become
very quiet. I'm still seeing posts in rec.arts.sf.fandom.
Well, I don't have any urgent filk-related information. But I am curious
if anyone knows what the filk program is Glasgow is going to be like.

For a while Glasgow was having trouble finding anyone to head up filk.
About a week ago, Lissa Allock and Mike Richards took on the job. Given
the timing, I assume they're still in the early planning stage.

I have noticed that too Nothign for a couple of weeks was wondering if the news server was toast. But then I currently only look at three "FILK"
groups and I am fairly sure at least one of them IS dead.

Some of them are dead too. rec.radio.amateur.boatanchors has been dead
for a decade now, sadly.
What other filk groups exist on usenet besides this one?

Since newsgroups never die, alt.music.filk must still exist on some
servers. I'm sure it's been used for nothing but spam in many years.

Heya, I have spotty internet access these days but I still follow this
group, and hope to get my network straightened out fairly soon.
