Donald Trump and leaders in his orbit spent the rest of the weekend
throwing out names of new countries that the United States could go
after next rCo Mexico, Cuba and even Greenland were tossed around.

But one Trump-backing country music star, John Rich, had a pitch of his
own on social media and it involved using Delta Force inside the United States.

rCLThe next Delta operation should be extracting Tina Peters from her
holding cell,rCY Rich wrote on X.

Peters is the former election clerk in Mesa County who is currently
serving a nine-year prison sentence. She was convicted of facilitating a
data breach into her countyrCOs election system during the 2020
presidential election.

Trump issued a pardon for Peters on Dec. 5, but a president cannot
pardon a person who was tried and convicted in a state court.

Despite that fact, Trump and his followers have continued to push for
her release, and Rich has not been the first to suggest military
intervention to free Peters.

And RichrCOs post got plenty of support on X.
