    The story is that the other 3 Beatles had left after arguing with Paul
    trying to get him to sign a contract making Allen Klein their new
    manager. He wanted 20% and Paul only wanted to give him 15%. The others
    had signed already but Paul refused, so the other three left. Paul was
    still in the studio when Steve Miller and his guys came in and asked if
    anyone was booked, and could they use the studio. Paul hung around and
    played on that one song before he left.

    Not sure if this was in the UK or the USA or what.

    Thanks for the backstory.

    The others were fools to side with Lennon the on the Klein dispute.
    Lennon at that point had an established history of being an acid-addled
    dupe for con artists.
