    John said this about his and his former (Beatles) bandmates
    abilities on their instruments. Is it true?

    I believe that Paul was generally technically good. John, George
    and Ringo all had technically good moments, though I'd say most of
    John's good technique evaporated when his life became a "continuous acid
    trip" (in Pete Shotton's words).
