  • Garlic failed again

    Hi All,

    Noe that I have good soil in my garlic bed, the
    garlic is growing the way it is suppose to.

    I pulled two up today to look at them and they are
    covered in some powdery black stuff although the
    way through the wrappers into the cloves. ChatGPT
    thinks it is black mold (Aspergillus niger).

    I presume I can not grow garlic in the bed ever again.

    Dang!

    I am going to switch to peppers next year.

    I pulled out all my garlic and tossed it in the trash
    yesterday. What a pitiful end to trying to get garlic
    to grow for the past 10 years or so. And this time
    I finally got good bulb size too.
