  • The harvest begins ...

    So far this week I've frozen 2 one gallon ziplocks full of tomatoes ,
    today my wife canned 10 pints of green beans and I've got 7 quarts of
    Roma tomatoes waiting their turn in the pressure canner . There are
    enough tomatoes almost ripe to can 7 more quarts by Monday . Green beans
    are just getting started in earnest , probably late next week before
    there will be enough for another batch .
