finally had enough of a crop to put up some freezer
jam. had to try a new recipe because Mom bought the
wrong kind of pectin. i've not had a decent enough
crop for a few years to do much jam making. long
day but got it done.
i'm calling it $100 jam because that is about how
much i'd charge if i were selling it. not that many
jars and a lot of work. price in terms of actual
costs of materials might be $0.60 - $1.00 per pint.
have to find room in the freezer this evening.
on to bean planting...
