    Happy World Food Day, C= and Ami aficionados!
    The Fresno Commodore User Group has its annual "picnic" lunch at 11
    a.m. on Sunday, October 19, at

    El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant
    40 West Shaw, Suite 101 (southwest corner of Shaw and Minnewawa in the
    Wild West Shopping Center)
    Clovis, CA

    Bring good cheer and bring yourselves! We won't necessarily be talking
    about computers, but we will be munching down on good food! As always,
    the club will pay the lunch for all club members and their guests!

    It's lovely to see that you are still holding down the fort, as it were.
    I'm trying to rope a few more people into ditching social media and
    coming back to usenet, now that I'm back here again too. It's a tough
    task.

    I was a bit of a regular here in the late 90s too. I remember some of
    the auctions for Atari 2600 games that were held here, the talk about
    easter eggs and game solutions and other nice discussions about (mostly console) games.

    Good old times...
