    On the one hand, it's a classic RTS and you get a
    bunch of space-ships hammering it out against one
    another in colorful space battles. On the other hand,
    reviews indicate that this game is a bit buggy and
    lacks depth and variety. For quick casual battles, it's
    probably fine but don't expect anything that will
    entertain for you too long.

    The free offer lasts a week. Which is probably longer than you'll want
    to play this one. ;-)

    It has to do with how I read Usenet. rec.games.frp.dnd is always the
    final newsgroup I check out whenever I do my daily NNTP perusal (I
    save the best for last ;-). So if I suddenly reach over to post some
    new article, my newsreader has *this* newsgroup highlighted. I have to specifically move to the appropriate newsgroup first, and I don't
    always remember that step.

    I really should move rec.games.frp.dnd higher up on the list. Maybe
    put alt.test as the last one. They wouldn't mind the inappropriate
    traffic ;-)

    Or, you know, I could just use my brain and actually LOOK at the
    newgroup header before I hit send! But c'mon, do you think that after
    all these years that's likely to happen? ;-) ;-)
