"Don't chase pieces all over the board without a plan." (v1.0)

It's been said that Chess is the art of analysis. This implies to me,
that if GMs are playing games with 2 hrs time control, I need to tack on
as many analyses as I can to each move. Many of my moves are two
seconds of thought. It's because I have such slow opponents I've been
able to decide ahead of time, based on what they do, my next move.

"If your move chases a piece, examine all the possible places it could
retreat to. If satisfied, go ahead and chase it." (v2.0)

    It will be conducted

"Always have a plan" is the best advice I was ever given. So many people
    - at my level - think chasing a horse around the place early on is the
way to go. They then find themselves with exposed position and damaged
    pawn structure.
