    the only fault I have found in Shogi and Chinese Chess is that free will
    is de-emphasized. Yes, it induces a good strategy, but what about
    certain anomalies your corrosion will not substantiate? Approximately?

    I don't recall the Chinese version being as restrictive, there I am
    probably channeling the difficulty I had with uma, who can now be
    blocked by an adjacent orthogonal enemy or friendly.
