    I met him in person at the 1971 Canadian Open when he was standing
    over my board watching me blunder a bishop in very similar
    circumstances to the way Fischer did in game 1 in Reykjavik the
    following year. (My table was on the main aisle leading to the top
    boards - which I was definitely not on)

    It's been 50+ years and I always wondered whether he remembered the disconsolate 14 year old in Vancouver the following year in Reykjavik.
    I've long lost the score sheet but it was a very similar position but
    with colors reversed.
