I read that the Slotto are going to have 2 draws a night on Weds/Sat
from about June. I was thinking that this makes it unlikely we'll have
as many "must be won" draws in the future. The must-be-won draw is when
they actually pay a realistic amount of c.-u100 for a Match3. I wonder
if that makes it likely that their receipts will actually go *down*
because of this? I wonder if they've thought it through properly. I
don't play it any longer, as I've given up my Lotto manager role, but we
used to load as many line as we could in buying these tickets in a
must-be-won draw. Hmm..

Allwyn are getting lots of complaints on Twitter, responding that
players had asked for the changes.

Didn't they try two draws a night before, junking it in favour of adding
more numbers?

The change is subject to the assent of the Gambling Commission. I hope
it isn't given.

I understand Euromillions might be changed too in September, with more
numbers being added.

Yeah, I gave my six pennorth worth on Twitter too. They didn't do the
two draws thingy before, although the bookies used to run their 49s game
twice in a day. I wrote to the Gambling Com to complain about the
Slotto once before. My complaint was rejected. I can't see me ever
doing it again. The Euro is already near impossible to win, so more
numbers would make it worse.
