• A little OT... question about Thunderbird

I had some serious issues this week with Thunderbird on my laptop. While trying to get it working properly it got so messed up I ended
uninstalling it and then re-installing it. I got my email and
newsgroups sorted out. I had no problems with the filters for RFC but
there is another group I used to be active in but which became
overwhelmed with cross posted crap. I used to have all the cross posted
stuff filtered. Now I cannot get the filters to work on newsgroups. I
am using the same procedure on RFC and it is dealing with cross posts correctly but it just isn't working on the other group. Any ideas,

Food..... we just finished brunch. We had scrambled eggs, bacon,
cantalope and grapes. I baked a couple frozen croissants from Costo. I
had some strawberry jam on one and apricot on the other. I thought the
apricot jam tasted a little funky and then I noticed some mold inside
the jar. Damn. FWIW it was Bonne Maman low sugar. Good think the jar
    was almost empty.

Have you looked at the error log?
    What about the filter log?
Try changing the order of the filter that's not working.

I'd try switching to the Betterbird fork. It's a fork of Thunderbird with faster bug fixes and improvements. I've had a lot of success with it.
