I like the fact that SnS fries the fries in beef fat. I don't believe
the stupidity about it being more healthful. They are just more
flavorful. Also, grass fed beef *is* slightly more healthful, but
inferior in flavor. Notice that they haven't gotten rid of the

They're still making good sales.
I mean if you consider a 35.1% profit margin as reflective.
Most would.
Most aren't seeking out a means of expressing how bitter they are
with life. This appears to be all Bryan cares about, if his Usenet
posts are an accurate indication.

White Castle posted a 35.1% profit margin in 2024. They're more
profitable as a percentage than most chains 10x their size.
[Snip Bryan being PROVED wrong. Again.]
Maybe we'll get to witness Bryan express his bitterness with you
proving him wrong. We will have to wait and see.

White Castle generates $720.6 million annually. McDonald's does that
in 2 days.
White Castle pioneered fast food in 1921: standardized operations,
assembly-line kitchens, the works. They have 345 stores today.
McDonald's started 19 years later and has 39,000+ locations.
The gap reveals what happens when you choose control over scale.
They've never franchised. Every location is company-owned and
operated. When McDonald's embraced franchising in the 1950s, they
exploded from a regional chain to a national powerhouse within a decade.
White Castle stayed regional.
The structural differences show:
rCo Only about 30% of White Castle locations have drive-thrus
rCo Drive-thru accounts for 70%+ of sales at most major burger chains
rCo White Castle operates at a fundamental disadvantage in today's market
Is bigger better?-a Probably more ego driven than anything else.-a White Castle is making money, employing people, making customers happy.-a Good

That would be a nice boat ride. I'd get a few cabins and take some
friends along.
Priorities change with age. Younger me would want plenty of "stuff"
to have fun with. Older me has accumulated enough of it. I'd focus
on people. I'd make a few others millionaires. Just common people
that I worked with over the years, decent hard working that respected
and helped others.
Buy a stack of $500 gift cards at Publix, then walk through the store

He's done this before with conflating local St. Louis observationsWe do travel, so it's not all StL observations. Here's an example far
to the rest of the nation/region.
from StL--Murfreesboro, TN. There was once a WC and a Krystal. Only
the Krystal is still open. The closest WC location is in Nashville,
where 3 of the 5 locations have closed.
Kansas City? All locations closed. Las Vegas? Two of the five justWC is not a western states play, so...
closed.
Chicago, 5 locations recently closed. Zero recently opened.I disagree.
If they aren't already earning more from the frozen ones than the
freshly cooked ones--aimed at the diaspora--they will be soon.
Those of us who loved them from childhood love them, but we're dying
off.
That is way too much money for any person. It's too much for someone who
has worked or invested well. It's way too much for someone to win.
Enormous wealth like that destroys people's lives.-a One sad reality is
that one of the first things you are going to need is a security detail because some people are going to search you and and aim for a ransom. If
no you, someone in your family. You are going to lose friends because
even your best friends are going to be uncomfortable around you. If you
go out for drinks or meals they will expect you to pay, and they will be loathe to take you to places you can afford.
You will need to hire someone to manage your money. Then you will need someone to keep an eye on the person you think you can trust to manage
your money.-a You will need a good lawyer, and another good lawyer to
watch your lawyer.
Some friends and family will expect you to share the wealth. You will
have to figure out how much each of them deserves. I have some relatives that would stand to get a good chunk of money. My son will benefit big
time. My younger brother will do well. The other two... nada. Some
nieces and nephews will do well. Others won't.
What about the poor bums that have to shop
at wal-mart, if they can even afford that?
