Recently got my hands on a juicer for a deep discount. My mom got it for
me and I thought it was worth a try. I had done some research on home
units and nothing seemed to grab me.

I'm on my second day. Yesterday I gulped down the juice from about 2lbs
of carrots and a few stalks of celery. Had it with dinner and it went
    down easy.

At lunch I juiced about 8 stalks of celery with a few slices of honeydo
    and, again, went down quick.

Anyone experiment with the juice? Any favorite recipes? I'm only getting started so only a few things so far.

Sorry. It's healthier to eat the vegetables, unless your digestive
system will not handle the fiber for some reason.

    Sigh...mostly true but:

    https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/expert-answers/juicing/faq-20058020

Juicing can play a role in a balanced diet. For instance, it can help you get fruits and vegetables if you don't enjoy eating them.

Juicing also can give the digestive system a rest from digesting fiber.
This may help some people who have certain health conditions or who
    receive certain medical treatments.

In general, think about making juice with a blender instead of with a juicing machine. Blending the parts of fruits and vegetables that can be eaten produces a drink with more healthy plant chemicals and fiber.

If you try juicing, make only as much juice as you can drink at once.
Harmful bacteria can grow quickly in freshly made juice. I
