• Breakfast for Dinner again 5/15/2026

I love having breakfast for dinner. It's so simple and satisfying. A
three egg cheese omelet, two strips of bacon on the side and oh,
    shredded pan fried hash browns.

It was sushi here for supper.

But back when McKinley was president and my brother and I still lived at
home, Friday night dinner was always 'breakfast.' We couldn't wait to get
home to enjoy that feast that included dropped biscuits and a skillet of
    milk gravy.

When my brothers and I were kids I can't recall ever having breakfast
for dinner. The only time Mom made drop biscuits (or any biscuits) was
to serve them topped with creamed chicken.

A tour of Hammy's warped mind is _always_ a bad day!

Fortunately it doesn't last a full 3 hours...

I can't say that we had "breakfast for dinner" but Shrove Tuesday was
pancake day and he usually had eggs, bacon or fried ham steaks and, of
    course, pancakes.

Snack crackers, not exactly the same thing, Leo. :) When my mother made
drop biscuits, she used Bisquick brand baking mix.
