I just used my last piece of milspec neopreeen to replace a way cover.
I looked it up on eBay and found some pieces for 13.09 available with
    free shipping from Zoro.

I looked it up on Zoro and the same pieces were almost 80 bucks each.

I've found the same thing with one of the suppliers I've been buying tractor parts from . Buy from eBay it's cheaper and free shipping . Buy
direct it's higher prices plus shipping charges .

Its stupid too, because it costs them more to sell on ebay. Ran into
that years ago with Reid Supply before Essentra bought them out. I'd
look up specialty mills on their website, and then find them sold by
them on Amazon cheaper. Same thing. Amazon takes a much bigger cut
than just your own credit card processor. Haven't bought anything from Reid/Essentra in years. They reached out to me recently, and I'll tell
you what I told them. Not one thing have I looked up on their website I haven't found cheaper from another industrial supplier like MSC,
    McMaster, Zoro, etc.

I've had bad luck with accordion covers. McMaster sells a frabric one
that lasts okay, but it flattens out to easy. I just use flat neoprene
rubber where ever possible. I tried that clear vynil used for coolr
door flaps, but it gets hard and stiff. The rubber way accordion way
covers just tear along the folds.

Honestly, if I had the time and the space I would make metal telescoping covers that rest into pin slots so I could left them out for cleaning.

... and on two different machines that I just removed front way covers
from, the bracket that held the old accordion way covers BLOCKed chips
from getting out from under the saddle, and they had built up a lot. I already replaced the ones on the rear. Now I can just lift the flap and
stick a coolant hose in there whenever I wash down the machine.

Simple is often better, and just because they built it a certain way
doesn't mean its good or even the most economical way.

MSC used to do it too now that I think about. I'd find something
cheaper on eBay than on their own website. They played games with
shipping though. I don't recall what exactly now, but I wound up never
buying their eBay listing. Usually I went to a third party instead.
