I'm seeing this species in my backyard a lot lately. Normally a ground forager, imagine my surprise when I saw one clinging to and eating from
the hanging suet feeder a couple of times last weekend. (Naturally it
flew off before I could grab the camera.)

I like these birds. They're big and brown and have very pretty speckled breasts:

I'm seeing them a lot lately. Or maybe it's one bird that really likes
my back yard. LOL
