I was sitting here at my little desk in the corner where I can look
straight out the window and see the hummingbirds at the feeder, or
simply turn around and watch the birds splashing in the little bird bath
on the patio.
I started hearing quite a racket outside. There were birds of all kinds
in the big azaela bush at the back corner of the house. Tufted titmice,
a couple of bluebirds, a couple of cardinals (male & female), Carolina
wrens and Carolina chickadees. They were all yelling their heads off!
I stood up and looked down at the ground just in time to see a very long
black and yellow striped snake slithering its' way around the corner of
the house.
It was amusing to find so many different types of birds banding together
to yell at a snake. :)
